ShopMyState.com - LOG ON Magazine is the Pacific Northwest’s interactive Internet news & lifestyle magazine for Internet—savvy consumers. The approach is informative, useful, and interactive, that shows as well as tells. In every issue, there is plenty of practical, interesting and technical information about today’s lifestyles and Interent  related news items. The LOG ON Magazine stands alone as the source of Internet news, combined with local lifestyle choices  for consumers--including features and columns on such topics as home & garden, outdoor life, technical tips, humor and local web site directories.

CIRCULATION 

Published monthly.
Distributed in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon 
Distributed: On-demand, FREE at local grocery stores, restaurants, motels, and others 
Average circulation: 250,000.
Readers: Internet—savvy families to children, business owners to empty nesters,

Rates are set on our standard ad sizes, as opposed to the column inch. Annual contracts for ad spaces may be arranged with a frequency discount — ask your rep for details. 

Latest date to change or cancel ad space is the ad closing date. 

Cover positions are cancelable only upon receipt of written notice 90 days prior to the ad closing date.

PREMIUM POSITIONS

All display ads are sold on a guaranteed placement basis per page. In the event that ad space  is sold to two advertisers on the same day the space will be given to the first purchaser based upon time of sale and the other advertiser will be given an alternate choice. 

CLASSIFIED RATES

The rates listed are on a per insertion basis.

All orders must be prepaid. Ads are subject to approval of classified ad manager.

PRINTING PRODUCTION

Printed by web offset, 4-color process only (cyan, yellow, magenta, black). 11 3/8 inch X 17 1/2 inch 
quarter folded tabloid. 

All furnished materials should conform to SWOP: Specifications for Web Offset Printing. 

Ad materials are due to ShopMyState.com - LOG ON Magazine at ad close and will be kept on hand for 
12 months after issue date.

Advertising materials that do not conform to the stated requirements may incur additional production costs. 

Most ads will be designed by our staff (layout and typefaces are determined by us and cannot be specified 
by the customer).

Digital Advertising Specifications
We strongly recommend digital file preparation for all partial page ads, unless we are preparing the ad. Please contact your sales representative or the Advertising Production Office for complete requirements.

File Preparation: Acceptable software programs: QuarkXPress 4.0, Adobe Photoshop 5.0, Adobe Illustrator 8.0. A final, 100%-size proof (digital color or laser) must accompany your ad. Include a printed job report and a disk directory with all supplied disks. All files must be composite page layouts ready for output.

Artwork: Minimum resolution requirements: 300 dpi photo scans, 1200 dpi line art. Acceptable file formats: EPS or TIFF.

Fonts: All fonts must be PostScript compatible. No TruType fonts may be used. Include both screen and printer fonts.

Disks: Acceptable media: 3.5" high-density floppy disk, CD-Rom.

CONTRACT AND COPY REGULATIONS
1.All advertising orders are accepted subject to the terms and provisions of the current rate card. Orders are accepted subject to change in rates upon notice from the publisher. However, contracts may be cancelled at the time the change in rates becomes effective without incurring a short rate adjustment, provided the contract rate has been earned up to the date of the cancellation. 

2.Orders containing incorrect rates will be regarded as clerical errors and insertions will be billed at current rates. 

3.The annual contract rates are for 12 consecutive months. Contracts must be completed within one year from date of first insertion. The first three-months of the contract are paid at rate card rates and the final nine months are at a 20% discount, resulting in an annual net discount of 15%.

4.Advertisers not on contract will be charged the one-time rate card rate. A contract
may be cancelled anytime after three months by notifying the publisher in writing thirty(30) days before the next closing date. 

5.The publisher reserves the right, without liability, to reject, omit or exclude any advertisement for any reason at any time with or without notice to the advertiser or advertising agency, and whether or not such advertisement was previously acknowledged, accepted or published. 

6.The word "advertisement" shall be printed at the top of the advertisements which, in the opinion of the publisher, might be confused with editorial pages. 

7.The publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on contracts, insertion orders or copy instructions when such conditions conflict with the regulations set forth in this rate card. Contracts, insertion orders or copy changes will not be accepted without written confirmation. Insertion orders must specifically state issues and space to be used. 

8.Orders for specific positions are accepted as requests. The publisher shall not be bound by such requests and has the right to determine the actual position. 

9.ShopMyState.com - LOG ON Magazine is not responsible for errors in key numbers or other typesetting done by the publisher. 

10.Advertisers and their agencies are liable for all contents of advertisements printed and are also responsible for any claim arising therefrom against ShopMyState.com - LOG ON Magazine. 

11.The publisher reserves the right to hold an advertiser and/or its agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to the publisher.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contract and Advertisement Acceptance. If Publisher accepts a contract or any
other form, it is agreed that the Publisher is not bound by conditions or instructions not
printed in the contract form. Publisher reserves the right to refuse any advertisement.
The Advertiser agrees to indemnify ShopMyState.com - LOG ON Magazine and Internet Marketing Concepts. against any loss, damages or expense resulting from the unauthorized use by Advertiser of any name, photograph, sketch or words protected by copyright or trademark law.

Content and Design of Advertising. Publisher reserves the right to reject, alter, or
refuse any advertising copy, in his sole discretion, or to disapprove any advertising
copy in accordance with any rules Publisher may now have or may adopt in the future
concerning acceptance of advertising matter. However, no change in advertising copy
to be published will be made without prior consent of the Advertiser or Agency.

Publisher reserves the right to place the word "Advertisement" in advertising which, in
the Publisher's opinion, resembles editorial matter or an “advertorial”.

Space Limitations, Printing Errors or Omissions, and Indemnification of
Publisher. Publisher shall have the right to omit any advertisement when the space
allotted to advertising in a particular issue has been filled. The Advertiser or Agency will
not be obligated to pay for any advertisement so omitted. Publisher shall not be
responsible or liable for any loss or damages suffered by the Advertiser or Agency by
reason of Publisher's failure to insert any advertisement in a published issue of
LOG ON, by reason of non-publication of a particular issue or issues, or by reason of
any printing, publishing, agents, contractors or subcontractors.

Storage of Advertising Art. Art work, advertising film and other reproduction
materials will be destroyed twelve (12) months after last use if return is not requested
by Advertiser or Agency within eleven (11) months after last use.
