How to update and change your primary search engine listing with ShopMyState.com...
The image below shows a sample search results page. This is how our search displays information about your business or web site. Notice the blue link Last Updated: - Click on this link for your listing and you will be taken to a page like this - Click Here - where you can then update it

Items to Change: (You will need a password & if you don't remember yours, then drop us an e-mail from the address that is currently associated with your listing.)

Why Change it? Our search results are displayed in up-date order. So the more you keep your listing updated and fresh, the closer you will always be to the top.

You can change almost anything in your listing you like. However, if you are to change your phone number and you have one of our Photo Billboards, then we recommend you send us an e-mail and let us change it for you. Also, if you have one of our photo or mini billboards, the DO NOT alter the field "Photo Billboard or Brochure or Website URL:". 
E-mail: Be sure to include your complete address like yourname@something.com or .org. or .net, etc.
Search Engine Description: You have about 220 characters you can type here. Be sure NOT TO USE any commas, double quotes like this " or $ signs or this ~ in your description.

When you have finished making your changes, scroll to the bottom, right side of the page - type your password into the password box then click on the "SUBMIT" button and you are done.
 
How to update and change your Photo Billboard with ShopMyState.com...
You are looking at a sample photo billboard. Notice the words 'Owner Suite' in yellow on the bottom left side of the billboard - located on the bottom blue bar. When you click on the this link, you will go to a page like this. Change any of the fields you want to change - and be sure to FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS for each field. When you are done, enter your password at the bottom right side then click on the "Submit" button.

Headline: This field is set to a maximum of 40 characters - be sure it is 'attention grabbing'.
About Us: Don't get too wordy here, otherwise your billboard will have a lop-sided look to it. You can use HTML codes here, but be sure you understand how to use them by clicking on the link that reads: Click For Tips.
Features: Here there are four bulleted items that gives the consumer highlighted information about your business, products or services. Again, keep them brief so your billboard will not have a lop-sided look to it.
Web site or e-Brochure URL: This is the URL of your main web site or e-brochure that you may have with ShopMyState.com or IGotaGetAway.com. If you are unsure about changing this, please contact your local agent or support@shopmystate.com.

Changing Your Photo: First you must have a photo on your hard drive or disk that is named: 555-555-1212.jpg - where the 555-555-1212 is the same phone number that is stated on your photo billboard. It should be no more than 250 pixels wide. The .jpg must be in lower case letters.

After you click on the "SUBMIT" button when changing your billboard, you will be given the option to upload or change your photo. Again, if you are unsure about changing this, please contact your local agent or support@shopmystate.com.
